Is this a hardflip????

Ok, let me get this straight i'm doing a bs popshuvit with a kickflip (i skate goofy footed and backside for me is flipping the board behind me not infront of me), figure that out, or it cud be a bs varial kickflip or then again a hardflip which eva one i wanna know coz i can land it most of the time now with lots of height,

so ur saying the board goes behind u and does a kickflip if so that is a hardflip

If the tail of the board goes behid you and does a kickflip, then it is just a kickflip varial, if it the tail goes in front of you and does a kickflip, then it is a hardflip.

Whether or not you skate goofy or regular is regardless.

I think he's doing a frontside varial kickflip.

he is doin a varial kf if the board is going to the back or counter clockwise since he skates goofy. if the board goes clockwise it is a hard flip

I was rite it was a harflip yipee!, lol, thanx dudes for letting me know what i was doin i knew it wasn't a varial kickflip coz i can do them and i no that it ain't them but i was just wondering what it was called doing it the other way - bs, i thought it might of been a backside varial kickflip,

yes the board goe's vertical underneath you and does a flip,

varial kickflips ARE backside, like punckrock said (in a way). hardflips are when the board flips half way nose-over-tail (on the y-axis), and does half a kickflip.

you ARE doing a varial kickflip

Simple solution: Record yourself doing it, and show us...it's that simple. Who cares what the name is..how about I call my heelflips
spinner-ma-bob i spin wit my foot trick....does it really matter how you put it? You're doing a bs shove it + kickflip (or something like that), then just leave it at that..

this is what he means, i pretty sure! this is an inward kickflip if its a kickflip and frontside shuv it at the same time...if its a pop shuv it(bs) and a kickflip then its a varial...

Well I'm getting a cam-corder quite soonish for our film - ADVANCE it's all about skateboarding and Jackass. But I do have a digital camera so i'll try ta get a pic when my boards fixed coz I got a stone caught under my venture's and the hanger snapped and they not replaceable so I can't skate until I get a spare truck of someone,

I get mixed up with backside and frontside (I call where you turn your body forwards - the way you can see your board - frontside and where your board and you go clockwise - backside),

Yes it is a hardflip the board comes vertically and starts to launch like a rocket to yuor balls and does half a flip too,

ok clockwise is fs for a goofy skater, but backside for a regular skater so the clockwise/counterclockwise things dont work

QUICK BS FS LESSON!!!
when you do a fs 180, when your halfway around your facing the way your going(hence the word frontside!!)

when you do a bs 180, when your halfway around your back is facing the way your going(hence the word backside!!)

FS/BS GRINDS
frontside grind=when you aproach the rail facing it(hence frontside)

backside grind=when you aproach the rail with your back facing it(hence backside!)
