yeah, after a week, i could get like, a deck, and i mean deck by meaning a board lying on the ground on the wheels, not on its side.

oldscoolelement
10-21-2003, 09:18 PM
yeah, and id rather do a 1 deck olliew that loksk perfect than a shabby 3 deck ollie/ i may not be good at skatebaording, but i make it look like i am by perfecting my tricks. there isnt a a trick i do that dsoesnt LOOK hard and good, although i make em look easy, some of em arent, like the boneless 180 2x heelflip. thats some hard shit, i still cant land that one evrytime

NIGhtMAre
10-21-2003, 09:52 PM
yea thats true like: a kick flip over a 2 set and landing clean is better then a 360 kickflip landing with one foot on the tail the other half on half of the board.

My first week, probably about 5 inches. I got to about 1- 1/2 decks, and couldn't seem to get a higher ollie. Then I moved to Columbia, and it multiplied!!

DarkHawk- Maybe that's because you're so used to ollieing a certain height now, that you don't notice the height? That is pretty strange, regardless..

Hmm i smell rat shit. In ur first week a metre or more? Ok. But did u know that the worlds highest ollie by Danny Wainwright is i think i metre and 9 centimetres(1.9m) so if in ur first week u could do a metre i guess u should be better than Danny by now. NO. BULLSH_IT.

shut up , they,re just saying that they didnt ollie in the first week and you start calling them fags(you must come from the U.K cause only we call people fags). i didnt know what an ollie was in the first week so i just had FUN on my board and rode around doing turns and minicarves. so I learnt more board in trhe first week than people who rush things and try all the tricks first and make them look crap with no style.

there is no way you ollied a metre

DJisInsane
11-27-2003, 01:11 PM
about 3 inches, because I practiced non-stop...if it wasn't for that, I would've had it 1 in...but its good, 3 in.

that was a while ago...

DarkHawk2-2
11-27-2003, 07:54 PM
a meter is close to three feet. now... think about this. 3 feet equals 36 inches. world record ollie is about 40 sumthing by danny wainwright. hmmmm....... world record switch ollie is 40 and an eighth by some dude on lib tech......hmmmm...... definitely bullshit. but still, its not right to just go and flame him for it. let him stew in his own stupidity.
