Unreal Tournament rocks. Especially game of the year edition that I own. Anybody else ever played it?

Seriously, none of you have ever played Unreal Tournament.
If you haven't go find the demo at unrealtournament.com and download it.

Hey I've played it, it's not bad at all. Have you tried the Tactical Ops mod for it? www.tactical-ops.to I think it is.

It's a mod that totally changes the game, makes it like a counter strike type of game :D

I think it's good, but not worth its price. It didn't deserve the Game of the year award since only 2 big publications named it like that (gamespot and computer gaming world...those 2 companies are the same, one on paper, one on the net). It's not good like Half-Life was...Half-Life's the greatest computer game of all time, and it's still the #1 multiplayer game played right now, with over 5000 dedicated servers up and more than 40 000 people playing it every day (including mods like CS obviously).

Yeah, Half-life rocks hard too. Never played Tactical-ops though.

To tell you the truth I never really liked Half Life or CS at all. I always played Quake 2, that was the ultimate FPS of its time.

Ramprage...that's what I though too, but after I saw Half-Life sneak preview screenshots backs in 1997, I said "Damn that game'll be good", so I pre-ordered it on the spot". I wasn't wrong, when it was out in 1998, it was game of the year by every single publication that exists, and the game is built on the Quake 2 engine....but you'll never see, at any time of the year or month or day, as much server on quake 2 than on Half-Life and HL mods (Day of defeat, CS, Opera, Frontline force, Firearms).

I'm buying Unreal Tournament 2003 as soon as I have cash, one thing that's bugging me is this Game Unreal Championship, it's only coming out for X-box which is a real bummer.

Yeah but championship sucks if you compare it to 2k3....and it's on console....
