for som wierd reason after every trick i always hop off my board why the **** do i do this. does anyone else have this problem?

yeah sometimes, and its not like it was a sketchy landing, i just pop off sometimes

It's called inertia. When your body keeps moving foward because of the velocity behind it, it keeps going, and it doesn't stop. If your board isn't faced in the direction your body is going, it will flip. So, naturally, with your instinct and reflexes handed down from cavemen that hunted caribou forever ago, you jump instead of falling face first and having yourself a pavement sandwich. Learn how to straighten your board so you land in a position to keep going foward.
I used to do the same thing with my FS 180s on to curbs. Except I would kick the board out from under me.
It's all physics.

Like Owl said its Inertia I just went to a class on this at the Science Center the other week actualy, anyway just land straight and practice lots and it shouldn't be a problem.

Absorb more impact on the land, I used to have a huge problem with this on Heelflips.
