It's so ****ed up....there's a snowboard jib competition tonight at a nightclub about 100km from where I live. They find snow, do a little 3-4 rails course outside, and all the semi-pros from Qc participate. I'm gonna go see it with some friends, about 1h drive...but it's gonna be fking awesome.

yeah, nows the time of year when everyone gets all antsy and finds snow, usually from their local arenas, and sets up shit to jib. my local jib area should be set up by the end of this week.

i got a nice hill right outsied my house but the problem is you have to know how to stop when i started out i had som "accidents"

at hockey rinks the zamboni takes all the snow generated from cleaning the ice and dumps it outside the rink. eventually a huge pile of snow is created. perfect for a little jib park to jib before the hill is open. set up a rail and a picnic table, and youre all set. :)

Yeah that's what they did...at the begining of the night it was real cool, they put a rail and a skatepark quarterpipe for the guys to do a lil coping rail or tap....it was real fun, but then like at midnight all the snow became ice cuz it melted from 10 to midnight and then it became ice cuz it was under 0 celcius...so it sucked ppl didnt want to board anymore.
