u haver to be a little more specific about ur needs what exactly do u want to know or is it just editing as a whole like from start to finish

What do you mean you dont know how to edit? Get a camera with miniDV, a computer with a firewire port and a firewire cable, and go into Windows Movie Maker.

it'll take a while to tell you how to edit, but do what mike said and it'll be cool. DO NOT GO DOWN THE 8MM / Hi8 ROUTE. just don't

I think he should just get hi8 first... then if he gets into it buy a digital8 so he can stil use his old tapes...

Just go to a catalog store in town, look in the camcorder section, buy something cheap to start off with

Not so much hi8 i meant analogue in general. Dv is a lot easier.

save your money. and find a skater with equipment and have him hook ya up till u can get da real deal.

adobe premier, after effects, photoshop, and illustrator. Once you have all of them and the right camera and computer you'll be in good shape.... Just pocket change.
