One local hill just opened yesterday and I decided to go with my friend today....there was that HUGE box....20ft long....it was the best box I've ever rode on....seriously we could do those HUGE and slow 360 on the box while moving...it was so well waxed there was absolutly no friction (on my 2nd try I put too much weight on my heels and fell on my back, I slided all the way for like 15ft on the box)....anyways we're hoping it's gonna stay there so we can film things on it.

I'm probably going to film during the christmas vacations (that start today :D)....so you'll get it around mid-january :)

*edit* I found a pic of it on the hill's site...so you know what I'm talking about http://www.montavila.com/files/MSSI_2003/aIMG_7764.jpg *

wow... thats looks to be a sick box.

and that view is insane...even if it looks kinda fake.

man, i wish the mountain i live closest to had sick views from the trails, instead of from just the summit

Ohhh man that box looks amazing. Which hill is that at? I could see nose-pressing that whole thing easily. The spinning boardslides would be damn fun aswell. Lets see some footage of it.

rob...the view's good, but actually the hill's so small that the pic's POV is almost the hill's summit (it's about 610ft high....). That mountain's mostly a park mountain....they have a olympic-size half-pipe, huge big airs, long and high rails, long boxes, kink boxes, kink rails, a C-rainbow rail, a bench-box...about anything you need to have fun, and it's the cheapest hill around since it has only 11 trails (3 of them are parks). The name's Avila (owned by MSSI, who also own Jay Peak in the Vermont and La Plagne in the french alps).

*edit*
This is the kink box (not me on it): http://www.montavila.com/files/MSSI_2003/arampe1.jpg

and the big airs look like this one (not from the same mountain, but exactly same desing....3 launchers from different distances, from 20ft to 30ft approx)

Man, I need to start snowboarding. With a ramp that big, I wouldn't do it on a skateboard, but on a snowboard, I would convince myself that if I bail, the snow is softer than concrete, which right now, I doubt. Also, I don't know how to stop once I'm going on snow, so I'd be forced to do it.:p

Hey snowboarder.... have you ever been to Jay Peak. I used to go there every march break. That place was amazing. They are getting a shitload of snow this year.

Yeah I go there about twice a year...it's nice since you can pay in canadian$ and they receive SO MUCH snow each year. The glades are awesome. I may go there more next year since I may rent a lodge with friends and we'd be clost to Jay Peak, on the canadian side. (Near Orford/Sutton).

Avila (the mountain where there's a huge park and where the pics are from) is about 45 mins drive.

Jay Peak is about 1 hour 15....
