Wooden rails

Does anyone have an idea of how yo build a wooden rail. I can get myself some 2x4s and tools...but making it solid enough to ride on it with a board is kinda hard...I can't figure out how to nail them together so the base wont break...

put columns underneath the rail every 3ft or so, that should make it quite steady

I wouldnt go with wood at all, my advice to you its to get some poly pipe, a few screws and some 2x4's and make your rail with the poly pipe and your legs with the wood.

I didnt mean a steal pipe I meant a Poly pipe poly is a like hard plastic material, some boards are made of it and its what a plastic drain pipe is made of.

I'd recommend if you gonna make it outa 2x4s slap to 2x4s together for the rail and like the other guy said support it with colums.

hey i say take a 2x4 put a pvc pipe gut it and fit on the 2x4 and make it as tall as you want cause i built one out of a pvc pipe and its awesome

well u sing wood isnt all that great unlessss its a massive rail ur buildin . try a titanium steel rail or some pipe or tubing. its all godd

if u want a hard core wooden rail u have to get a trea and bend it into a rainbow rail
