What does everyone think of this Camera? I'm big into Scrap Booking so I don't need anything to fancy and this camera seemed to fit my needs. What do you think? :-26:

its pretty cheap if you pick it up second hand from ebay or whatever, if you don't want anything fancy then this might do as a basic slr. Probably has a few basic creative controls like shutter speed and aperature, if your new to it all then shuv it on auto and take a reading.

I think you type too fast to know what you're even saying. If you dont know much about the subject just dont post on it... as for the Canon EOS Rebel 35mm i think youd be alright... seeing that your not planning to do extravagent (spelling sorry) things with it....

The Rebel isn't that great - it has a plastic lens wring meaning it will wear down with time and eventually break.

Its a good first time camera but don't expect it to last long.

Since mike hasn't posted on here yet, i thought i'd let you know that i own a canon rebel 2000 and its not a very good camera for skateboard photography. If your looking at skateboard (or any other exteme sports) photography i suggest looking at an eos 3, eos 1n, or eos 5 for a cheap camera.

If not, the rebel will be alright i spose, but for a little more money you could get something a lot better, so why not?

If you feel like being a soccer mom... that Rebel is where it's at. Why Canon over Nikon?

maybe he likes stuff that breaks easily?

i'm not saying canon over nikon, i just know more abomut the canon line, because thats what i use. You'll have to ask mike for nikon cameras that are of the same level.
