review of Almost decks.

alright, ive had loads of enjois in the past. i think my last one i had was about 9 months ago... newho, i picked up an almost one day. it was a greg lutzka 'incorrect' board. i figure it be the same as enjois since its from dwindle. well, i skated it that day at this plaza and a 6 stair. i do my tricks. nollied off a ledge thing at the plaza, kickflipped the 6. whatever. thought it was decent, it felt kinda iffy but it did feel just like my past enjois... its been about a week, and the board is poop. chipped to hell, no pop left, i realized that im no longer used to monster mold, skates like shit. took all my energy just to get it to pop right down an 8 stair.. the deck still looks like it would do its stuff but appearances can be decieving. so, i give almost decks.. 4 outta 10.

Try a Baker if you want pop, or just go Blank...Ephie has an Almost and he was acting like a retard last time I was over his house and he chucked it on the street and chipped a nice hunk out of the Tail or nose I can't remember all I know is they chip, it was alright to Skate on for me but didn't have the pop my Baker does.

I got an almost about 2 months ago. It's the yellow rodney mullen one and its the best deck i've had so far. It's the only deck i have that i can land kickflips on, all of my other decks float away in mid air when i try kickflips with them, this one does em nice. I've also noticed that it has been the most durable board i've had yet, and it has the most pop. 2 months now and its not chipped.

Just to let you know, my other decks were... blank from kmart (1 1/2 months), birdhouse tony hawk mini (1 month), birdhouse team (2 weeks), black label team (2 weeks), and my almost which has lasted 2 months so far. The way things are looking i can probably get another month out of it.

I got the Original HW pink, it still has its pop; it's not poopy; I don't know how u ride ur board, but I do flateland stuff, and it's not cracked.

Actually the Greg Lutzka "Wrong" series board doesn't have "monster Mold" concaves, it has the "Control Plus" concave.

wow... dont toy machines have that control plus concave too? theyre pretty flat... idk, but the concave is steep as hell.
