can anybody crook grind?? if so.....

think of it as a nose manual thats crooked and try it that way and dont put too much weight on ur front foot, that should help a little :cool:

actualy i learned how to do the grind on accadent. i was tryin a board slide and i did it on accadent. wax the ledge reeealy good and makeshure ur doin it on a ledge not a railing. do everything as u would for a boardslide. when u do the ollie and turn dont turn as much and aim the ollie high. u want to hit the grind with fully extended legs and start the trux moving on the ledge then come down on to the board fully and bend ur knees so it grinds easier. try and try again if it is waxed good enough dont worry about if ur nose touches. u can fix that later. i would attempt this on a wooden box with a grindable metal edge it will work best there. also dont try on a high ledge go as small as u can

Um...crooked grinds are ALOT different than boardslides.

this is how i do them...

Ride parallel to the object...preferably a grind box with a metal coping, so that you slide better, its easier to learn on something that slides good. Place your front foot near the front of the deck with your toes slightly hanging off. Ollie and place the front trucks on the ledge, press your nose onto the ledge for better balance, be sure that your rear trucks are to the side so that when you come off the ledge, they don't catch...when coming off, shift your weight back so that your weight is even distributed over the bolts...ride away smoothly...

It takes some practice...but you'll get it soon enough.
