truck sizes

Ok i know i either want grind king or venture but whats the deak with size of the trucks. What size should get of trucks? Can u get any trucks any size u want ?

Trucks come in many sizes
7.5, 7.75, 8.0, 9.0, 9.5, 10.0
pick one that's the same width as ur board

Mines are a little smaller. My old ones were sticking out from the sides :(

General rule is don't get anything bigger of smaller then .25 of the Deck Width, so if you get a 7.75 Deck you can use 8.00 or 7.5...however Try to get same size i.e. 7.75 deck 7.75 trucks.

alotta times youll see like venture 5.0 or indy 139 or something. for ventures thats normal size, and indy 129 is 7.75 and 139 is 8

width, same as ur board or a little thinner depends what kind of turn you want. If you're doing alot of technical and gaps get one where the hanger is the same height as the king pin bolt, if you're doing alot of grinding, get a truck with the hanger is taller than the king-pin givving you lots of grindspace but less air.

no you want a lil thinner no matter what. cause if its even equal it can **** your turing and balance up

equal trucks help smooth landings though.

not really, it just makes you get wheel bite easier man. also its easier to do smiths/feebs if your truck axle is farther in.

5.0 Ventures are 7.75 5.0 means its got a 5 inch Hanger or grinding surface.
