Ricta's are kinda soft makes them great for any surface, I have the Rodrigo Texiera Supernaturals and I like them alot, yeah they are kinda soft.

78D is really soft compared to what most people ride. 96-100D are most common.

on ricta coreds, the outer part of ricta is 82b. the core is 78d. the core is the hard part.

the regular no core rictas are 82b.

rictas are not that soft but not hard either. in the middle. the core is hard tho.

Yeah I would say theyre more in the middle not soft, but not hard. Which makes them the best wheels on the planet!:D
