Uhh... Theres a lot of people here that age. Im not... But this site is for everyone? Are you "too cool" to hang around here bc a lot of us are younger than that age?

welcome to the site. and this doesnt pertain to music.
what's wrong with hanging out with younger kids? i'm sixteen and i hang out with mostly kids older than me. hell im in a band where the age ratio goes from 16 to 21. does it matter? no.
just enjoy the talk about skating and stuff. you havent been around long enough to figure out if you like the forums or not. and as people seem to be forgetting, there IS a website here... filled with tons of trick tips and reviews.
so, even if the boards arent "age apropriate" for you, come back to the site for trick tips, reviews and stuff.

17 in 3 months... I'm cool.
I ride BMX with guys ranging from 12 to 19 years old... no one cares we all do it because it's fun.
I skate with 12 and 16 year old kids because its all there is.. oh well, its good to skate with other people.
It's up to you to decide if you fit in here.

I hang out with a lot of people older with me. Actually, I prefer to, because most of the people my age are freshmen, and hence, they have to act stupid. I scare my teachers because I'm a mature freshman.

well... i think her point might have been... "are there any guys around her age she can hook up with on the internet" this isnt love connection Jen. im not too sure why someones age on the internet would matter. Because on the internet... a lot of younger people act more mature than some of the older people.....
ehh all i can say is if you have a problem with the age thing here... you dont need to use the forums -- Refer to Robs post

Will I see I got a few responses. Banana Soup, I think I just may take your advice, although in person, it's really hard for me to ignore someone. As for "being smarter" than me, I highly doubt it. A respnse like that is......let's see....immature. I just wanted to know if there was someone my age range. I dont normally hang around with younger ones, but I have a couple "little" friends. And although I appreciate you stickin up, this forum wasn't to hook up either. Maybe talk, I don't mind chattin with anyone but I dont like immature conversations. I gotta go, have fun y'all, PEACE!

Hey Jen, you're from Whitehorse?
Wow, I went skating at your outdoor park like 6 years ago.
Must be freezing up there right now. Did Whitehorse ever get an indoor park?
I'm 21 and the owner of the site, welcome to Ramprage ;)

Yeah I'm from Whitehorse. We still have that park, in Riverdale, on the other side of the bridge. I dont think many people are with the idea of a indoor park. It's harsh here. It's VERY cold. I nearly got frstbite yesterday while on the slopes. I gotta go, PEACE! ;)

It's pretty cold here. It was like -50 with the wind shield the other day. I really want to get out of this place asap. I was never made for the cold, lol.
So.....banana soup, asl? I gotta go, but give alive! PEACE!

No one said it mattered, but what harm does it do to ask? I suppose you could look at this as "small talk"...
seksi_outrage
01-21-2004, 08:11 PM
I think that it does matter. Like i said before. I like to have mature conversations. This is small talk, I see no point in "big talk". Besides....if there is someone out there around that age range with a picture or cam then I'm willing to add them to msn, yahoo messenger, whatever. I gotta go though, you guys can fight about it....peace!
Luv Jen

01-21-2004, 09:51 PM
We're not fighting...we didn't make this thread in the first place.
Second, Online, you won't know the difference between a 20 year old and a 40 year old, and depending on the person, can have a mature conversation with any age person...so age seems kind of irrelevant, but to each his own.

Example: Nightmare, that's immature.
My point was that someone is most likely to be "mature" if there between that age range. AS I said before, I don't mind talkin to anyone of any age AS LONG AS THEY BE MATURE ABOUT IT! UNDERSTAND??? okay....peace!

I never said that I had graduated. How smart or how far you get in life has nothing to do with maturity. You could be the most immature person ever and still get pretty far. But I get annoyed easily unless I really get to know you. I was just explainin' why I was going to Sask...or Van. Common sense....
But keep up the replies and you keep my world happier....it's always good to know what other peeps think.

01-26-2004, 09:03 PM
But see, there is one of the big differences in being mature and not. When your "mature" in sense, you don't need to act like it, it's how you act without thinking. There isn't a on and off button, it's just the stage you've come to. No one is ever fully mature, they just learn and gain more wisdom as life goes on, or at least the fortunate ones do. You may come to a point in your life where you decide to yourself you are mature, but there is always room for expansion, which usually happens and you gain more intellect or wisdom, which can be called maturing.

Yeah well that's physical maturity....psychological maturity is another thing....and to comment this thread, I think that judging people's maturity by their age ("Anyone here age 17-23? ") is immature by itself...anyways.

Depends how you use it. If you use it towards a member to flame them, or even "go off" on them, then sure. You get three warnings, before getting kicked out- but some cases are special..
