For a B/S flip, try and catch it and then spin your 180.

Well, they took b/s flips, so i'll help you with f/s flips. That is a move i have completely forgotten how to do and am getting back into it. But i still know how to do them, i just can't.On to the subject.
You may want to learn hardflips first(i didnt, it's just all matter of oppion). You should be able to do kickflips and f/s 180 pretty consistantly. Now for the trick
F/S Flip: Your going to want to have a moderate ammount of speed. Pop your tail down already starting to kickflip and 180. Watch your board while you spin, and when you start coming towards the end of your rotation, catch your board and spin it the rest of the way.
Some little tips i want to put in.When doing them off gaps you want a slower rotation and just let the kickflip spin around itself. When doing them flat ground, you want to do the rotation and kickflip fast.
hope this helps:D

Yes my advice which worked for me a couple of months back is:
fs or bs you have to ollie, then turn 90 degrees either way u turning and at 90 degrees that's where u put the flip in and then catch it and turn it the extra 90 degrees hope this helps!,
