ramprage video? maybe?

i think we should start a ramprage video. people contribute footage to it and have a few sections like maybe regional. east coast west coast south northwest. then like uk, i dont know regions in the uk. we could have an editor from each region. have people send a minidv tape with the footage they have too the editor in their region. then the editor puts it on their computer. edits the part. after a deadline for footage. then all the regions send their regional parts on a minidv tape to say a 'main' country editor. then the country editor sends the tape to a 'main,main' editor. and he puts all the parts on his computer and compresses it in quicktime and windows media. i forgot to say and other countrys should contribute. it could be like. 1 min intro. starting like, ramprage video. then it would got in regions say a usa region first show 5-6 clips then a uk region ect ect. then we can put it on the internet. and then the main editor (who put the video on the internet) sends a complete video back to the country editors. the country editors send a complete video back to each of the regional editors,(all on their orignal minidv tapes)and then like if the people want the video on dvd or vhs. the regional editor will choose to do so, probably for a little bit of money since it all costs money. yet it could be hard to edit the usa and other country footage together cause of different format (pal ntsc) i think its different in editing since pal is 25fps and ntsc is 29.97 fps.

i really think it could work out. o we could send footage via web upload, raw footage in a zip file. or through msn

seems like a good idea, but there arn't really any good skaters on this site, so the video wouldn't be extremely exciting.

i could name a few excellent skateboarders on these forums but that wouldnt do for a video on a big forum such as this one,

theres some pretty good skaters on around here. and then a bunch that are mediocore, like me!

it's a good idea in theory, but we've had the discussion before, and all agreed that it was a good idea, in theory. but then again what pretty much isn't a good idea, in theory?

or everyone could put clips of their videos, or whole videos on there, and someone puts it all in one video and stuff like that

Man your whole idea is great....but the thing about sending minidv tapes through mail maybe isnt the best idea ever....Maybe some people could just send clips to a main editor and that person does the video and puts it online.....I could participate if there was a snowboard section....

if theres enough snowboarders we could have a snowboard section. what i was thinking up in school today. i could have everyone send me .zip files through either via ftp or aim/msn either because i really think this could work.

darnit! too bad tis snowing out. i want to get some footage right now! but theres about a foot of snow, and the roads are wet and slushy. and when you put in the footage, edit it so it says the persons online names, then their actual names n stuff. you prolly already thought of it but hell just in case. and make sure about the online names cuz we dont all know everyone by first name basis
