For some reason i just never slide when i try cess slides (sliding on all four wheels facing the way ur going, like the boardslide motion on flatground). I have tried with soft and hard wheels, on wet ground and slick surfaces but no matter what i try i always turn the 90 degrees but then just stop without sliding no matter how fast im going. I think i might be getting into them wrong, i roll in nollie, then PIVOT 90 degrees, is this right? Can u guys plz help me?:o

Try it on ice and see if you still have a problem.

He possibly lives in a cold climate (Northern USA/Canada/some of Europe) and there are puddles on the ground that eventually get so cold that they freeze and you can skate up to them and slide on them.

This would check if the surface he was trying to slide on just wasn't slick enough for him to try the trick...

I love how you call me a faggot aswell because I gave some dude some advice. Stupid lame ass kids.

I saw them doing it in a Blacklabel video. The whole object he slid on was covered in wax. or you could do it on a plastic object and dampen it a bit

when I do these, I put my feet on each kicktail, to take pressure off the wheels, and just lean back on my heels, and i usually slide aobut 3 feet if Im going a decent speed, but dont lean back to much, just play around with it, and I use hard wheels, and if all else fails, wax the floor.

i did this on a fun box once after seeing the balck bael vid, how patrick melcher does it like done stairs and big spins out and stuff. you have to ollie, land with ya feet on the bolts but mor towards the heel side and just power ya way through, you need hella wax with like darkstars.

nah, it looks better on flat. and i find that if u do the way where u push out with your tail it slides farther than if you pivot in.

ollieing into it would be easier cuz you would be applying much more force when you land then flats, and yeah, flats are cooler, you dont need wax or ice or nothing, just a decent set of semi hard to hard wheels, just go, and slide, lean back, you wont fall back if you lean, its like droping in, except backwads, when you drop in, lean as far forward as you can, when you POWERSLIDE (not cess slide, mcdouche) lean as far back as you can. there, done and done and done again and done once more after that.

also , try doing 180 slides and 360 slides, theyre kinda hard, but fun as hell, i can do all of em, and i can also do a 1080, (if doing numerous 180s really quickly counts)

Leaning back is the main thing. Me and Chria were ecperimenting with these on our box awhile ago, all we did was wax it to hell, and ollie 90 degrees, land on the bolts and leaning slightly back. Like a bluntslide with both feet.

ata an indoor skatepark i went to the ground was so smooth that if you tried to go 90 degrees you would go 180 it was so fun!:)
