Well..I haven't skated in a while..And just picked up my skateboard in the past week or so and I've searched alooooott..For video clips and such..And I learned a kickflip in 3 days..Well..It is good to have your front foot angled but as long as it's comfortable and the back foot where you can get the highest pop, obviously..But..My problem was my backfoot not being out of the way for the flip to get some room..So..As soon as you pop lift up that back foot and with the front foot flip outwards and kinda forward at the begginning of the nose..

Long post but alot of people are wanting to kickflip lol..
