soccer... allright i've got try outs in 8 days! 8 DAYS!!!! there's only like 5 spots on varsity i think. and beign a freshman. that's alot of competition between us all. i know i can make JV... i don't mean that like stuck up. but knowing the talent around me.. JV is like done. i want a challenge.. that would be to make varsity. it would like tear me up to see someone else take the varsity spot taht i knew i could out-play. i gotta give it my all... soccer is the reason i don't skate much at all anymore.. that's the main big reason. i've played it forever and i love it. i hope to go pro someday if women's pro soccer gets enough sponsers agian. i think its' stupid how mens soccer is like all good and they get paid tons and womens is like non-existant anymore cause they didnt' have enough sponcers. that's just bullshat if u ask me.

so who here has played/does play soccer?

After I graduate/get my GED, I'd like to get into some kind of YMCA soccer league or something, just for fun. My brother does that with basketball, it's really fun.

As of now, no time...but yea, I used to play, was pretty decent. But I guess I was little too, so anyone is good at that age, haha...

lol! not better than? okay... well i'm not sure about mens. but womens play like they do'nt know what they're doing and the us wemons play like they don't know where they are. as a whole. there are players incredible amounts of individual talent. the mens teams i've seen play rn't much better.. international teams are amature.. and pro teams are just within the country. i didn't belive that at 1st but it's true. i love how brazil plays and some of the countrys around there. they don't play to win, they play fair. it's awesome, cause it's about the game, not pride.

well i'll let yah go.. don't get me into this ;)

I used to play FOOTBALL...(hehe) still do occasionally yea i was good i played for my county at one stage that was fun fun fun... to tell you the truth i got bored of playing with retards.... i dont understand how people could get stuff wrong in that game it's pretty easy, to send an accurate ball or to score... but because i used to play on the wing i used to give the strikers the ball to score and they'd ****ing go and hoof it wide it just seemed, at the time, like i was doing all the work and they were spacking it up at the end of it ah well....good luck with ur tryout thingy dojemawatsits u'll do fine :)

I played soccer from 1st grade until 5th grade,then stopped because skating got in the way. I signed up again this year. My whole family is into soccer. My mom is a coach,and helps the soccer league out with some money/equipment,my brother and I play soccer. I always have liked soccer. I used to be the best on my team,and was usually the only one on my team to score goals,lol.

lol kicking a ball around.. so much more than that... i think there's a mental and physical side to soccer.. it's not only how you play, not only how the team as a whole plays... but about being pumped up and have a good chemistry between the team. yep... too many teams.. like 11 different teams for me in 8 years..

It's a sport..what's the point in riding a piece of wood? When you put it that way- there is none, but it's quite fun once you're doing it, right? For some people it's different. No big deal.

No man,she's my stepmom,and she played soccer since she was a kid. I didn't like her at first,but she's been really nice to me,so I call her mom.

hah no.. like.. your all close together personally and there's not division and clicks. me and my soccer team are like sisters.. we're around each other so much playing soccer, in other towns for turneys.. anything it's like a family. teams that don't have the team 'together' so to speak don't play as well because they 1. arn't as comfy, and 2. dont' know the other person. personality has to do with alot of how somene plays.. like a very outgoing person will probably be more agressive, and shy person more 'stiff' playing. yeah.. 'the team as a whole plays' is like .. how they play physically.. not the bonding between them..

i played soccer way long ago. i was pretty damn good at it, do little juggling junks wit' the ball and slide tacklin' my friends. Good times. I dunno if i can even kick a ball, its been quite a while... I was on a team in 3rd grade and loved it. Never signed up for next year cuz i started playing football wit' my cousin.
