Well first of all i would just like to share my views on this topic.

Wouldn't it be great living your life Skateboarding (as your job).

I mean skateboarder's DO NOT get enough attention and money for doing their/our sport which we certainly enjoy!

I mean come on guys footballers get paid millions for ****in' kicking a ball up and down the pitch and people who don't skate think it's easy and they do not understand how much time and effort we put into this sport.

Anyways if you have any opinions on this then just reply dudes!,

absolutely man it is the hardest sprt to learn

ne body can kick a ball around (maybe a bit of skill)

bt it takes balls and talent to be a skateboarder!!!!:D

Yes, but the fact is football brings in way more money than skateboarding. Don't ask me why, it just does.

yeah thats true because football is probably one of the oldest sports ever and morepeople find time to do it or watch it!

I agree, Skateboarding is one of the hardest sports to learn ever. It takes a long time to learn these tricks. Pro skaters should get paid more. But here's another point. These skaters also make millions on advertising campaigns for their skating companies. But for the sport itself they do need to be paid more.

i think that you guys are forgetting that skating isn't all about making money. skating is about doing what you love to do. i skateboard a lot and i don't make ANY money doing it, but i'm perfectly happy with that. you should skate because you love to skate, not just because you want to make money. i mean sure, if i had the opportunity to skate and make money i would definetly take it. i just think there's more to skating then money.:D

Hey thanks for answering the question and skateboarding dates back really more than 70 years now (believe it or not) and i don't meen ourselves personally making money from skateboarding but the pros themselves should get paid more,

it would be a dream job to be able to make a living off of skateboarding. too bad it doesn't happen to everyone. i mean, since i'm a girl it's harder for me to get attention, unless they see me skate. like at skate parks guys see me in line with my skateboard, thinking "whatta *****" or something stupid and when i'm skating now they don't say anything. lol. but hell, i'd love to get paid for doing what i love.
