If anyone is sponsored..How long did it take you and what did you do to get sponsors, and who are they?
Just wondering, Even though everyones like "skate for life" blah blah, And I know I'm not good (yet, just started) but I would love to be sponsored

Get flow from a clothing company in Cornwall. Very locally based, but they send me shirts down. Sent them a video and some pictures/

^I've talked to the kid that started the thread. He's awesome,so just mind your own business bro. He was asking a question, not doing anything wrong. But anyways man,I'm not worried about getting sponsored right now. Most people who get sponsored get noticed by people at a park. Word gets through to local shops,if they really seem interested in what they've heard, they'll find you,and ask if you have any footy,or just watch you skate. It all depends.

hey, i wasn't complaining or anything. just sayin' people are setting too high standards for themselves just to get sponsored, it's not right. i'm not sayin' i would turn down a sponsor but i skate not to get sponsered but because it is an outlet of my feelings. Usually when i am mad i learn new tricks because i let out my anger through my feet and board

i used to reckon that if i learnt 360 flips then i might be able to make a video and get sponsored. now im sort of learning them but i dont even think when i can land them that i will be good enough. do u think so? i dont skate to get sponsered but if i can i want to so i can get better skateboards and be able to do bigger shit and have more fun

ok, A, its not what you can do, its how you do it. look at todays pro skaters and youll notice that for the most part, they do the same tricks, just that each skater has theyre own style. if u want to get sponsored, you need to be able to do more tha n just tricks. skating is a lifestyle, and you need to represent that lifestyle, so if youre the kind of skater that thinks youre god and everyone else sucks, and you let that be known, you wont be sponsored. and 2, its funny how everyone says "yeah, so and so flows me this...." you trendy ****s.

La la, I'm not skating to get sponsored, I love it, And it would be real cool to get sponsored, And it's a good way to get noticed..To go on tour and such...But it would be cool to be like real known for your skating..Even though people say "Tony Hawk is a sell out" and all that guy stuff..But who wouldn't want their own video game? Lol I know I'll never be THAT good but ya can't set limits  But yeah
