Thats a real narrow minded comment to make, if they skate anmd they are a townie, what does it matter, they still skate. as long as they are commited, there's nothing wrong with it!
it's skating that counts, not ****ing fashion!

but if they really were commited to skating they wouldnt be a townie

Dudes its just opinion, in my eyes a skater is a skater, period. but when you find a skater who lies about himself and his tricks then theres a problem, some call them bullshitters but I call them *****s.

What a load of shit, where did that come from?
Just cos that is the minority, don't mean it's wrong. Just cos it's different, don't mean it's wrong!

i agree. I skate but i dont where big baggy clothers and studded bracelets. i where jeans from the gap. (loose enough to just barrely need a belt. I where plaid shirts. It doesnt matter what you look like. Skate to Skate not to fit a profile~

Exactly, i wear whatever i want. Being a townie regards needs of clothing as that is what being a townie is all about, but skating is all about having the skateboard!

i have never heard of scallys or kevs. but by reading this thread i get a clear idea of what it is. its people that only care about what someone wears and makes a new name for the person or assumption based on their appearance. i know a kid that always does that, he says you cant skate if you wear ecko and fubu and shit. like, why the hell do skaters all have to look the same! i dont have one shirt that has a skate brand name or anything like that, and i am just as committed to it as the next kid. so **** this dumb ass thread.

What exactly does suit a skateboard? See, there is no one way for a skater to look. Skaters can look however they want as long as they love skating.

Sorry I don't believe you here, 540 flip i really doubt that but.....
I wear what ever i like to wear, i skate to skate not to be part of a group.

540 flips are quite attainable. my mate can do em on flat like 1 in 3 goes.

you have some friends that can do amazing things dudey, but that dont matter. ya people tend to just tell lies when talkin bout other people, cause a 540 flip is not happenin.
