when you get little cracks under your trucks where the holes are, do they hurt your board at all?? i mean do they even make a difference in the pop of your board or anything??

I doubt they affect the pop too much...probably not enough to tell the difference.

Basically you ollie as high as you ollie still, but they will spread eventually but you might of worn the board down before they spread enough (but if you do lots of sets of stairs etc. hen it will spread pretty quick),

Yes, pressure cracks are not good for your board, I suggest buying a pair of Risers, they stop Pressure cracks *Mostly.*

ill tell wat i do so i nevber get pressure cracks. when i put my risers and trcks on my board, i put a cloth in between the riser anfd the board and it is like impossible to get pressure cracks. And dont worry, u dont see the cloth when u have the screws tight.

How to prevent pressure cracks:

Don't post in threads that are almost four years old.

No, they don't make a difference. I think they are probably unavoidable.

my old board got them in the fisrst 2-3 weeks, i owuldent think that it would effect the deck that much if any, as most boards end up with cracked/ chiped tails and are still usable

what is a pressure crack?
made a layer of the ply is splitting! so it wouldn't effect your pop or how you ride. just the life of your deck. each time you ride they ware more and more. its the same idea as you get a hole in your jeans. they are fine for a while. but the hole gets bigger and bigger. the deam around the hole gets weaker, and starts to rip. so in time the cracks just get bigger and board gets weaker. riser pads will help provent them. as well as Dorks shock pads (a soft style riser pad)

Bumping a thread from 2002 is bad enough, but that retarded reply is just horrible.
