I woz skatin in my local park the other day and this kid came into the park holdin his board. He looked pretty lame i guess you cud say as he wasnt wearin any skater clothes and woz a bit townie lookin. The natural thing u think when u see sumone ike that is that they are probably crap and u star thinkin all this stuff about how much of a f***tard they are and u dnt even know them. So anyway i watched him for a while skatin around on the flat and he popped a few flips.....real nice ones about 2or 3 decks high so i thought hey this kid aint so bad if he can flip this well.
Then he wacked out this amazin 360 flip which even by my standards woz gud. I approached him and told him wot i thought of his tricks and he said thanx and we started talkin. A few of the other more hardcore lookin skaters came into the park and started laughin at us and takin the mick,him cos he looked a bit funky and me cos i woz talkin to him.
So i told this kid to start bustin out some of his moves in the park and he popped a few more flips and the kids started to try and compete with him. Suddenly he started doin all this mullen style s**t and i woz like whoa and even the kids who were taken the piss were impressed. So eventually everyone in the park wanted to be his mate and i just thought
why wernt u this nice before u saw him skate. So the message is u dont have 2 be a looker to be a skater and the most unlikely person can suprise you. its the old dont judge a book by its cover story...maybe a little gooey but its dam tru,
