me and my friend were skating right after school today (on school property) and of course we got busted like within 5 minutes of starting. so the district admin or whatever made us sit in his office and like told us we were gonna have to pay a 266 dollar ticket, he was bluffing us and we had to sit through this whole shpeal and sign some paper that said we are his "insurance witness'" or something which basically means that if some kid falls and gets hurt while skating on school grounds, we go to court and tell them that its clearly marked and we know that we arent supposed to skate there. but we wound up not getting a ticket, but warnings, the kid i was with has been in trouble with it multiple times, and stuff like that but luckily he didnt get fined, i have never been in trouble yet. oh well.

Yeah that sucks, same thing happened to me in school, we were all skating at the first of the year, and then we were sitting in class, and on comes the PA, they say no more skateboards on the steps at the front entrance, people need to get through and someone might get hurt, if you wish to skate do so behind the school, behind the skool is a crack paved road, that isnt even worth walking on.

threatened with a fine for skating at your school? that's lame. here if we got in trouble for skating around teh school we'd probably just get detention or something. but nobody skates at my school because there is nothing to skate.

Pah thats dumb, I leave my local schools alone untill the summer when nobody is around, rest of the year I just find somewhere else to Skate like the Rolling Rink Parking lot behind EphieBoys house.

at my school we have a cement quarter, a 9 stair, a 7 stair, a 5 stair, a 4 stair, hand rails galore, benches, and this HUGE like over 15 or so to flat to another 15 or so. with a double rail in the middle.

oh and during summer there are still people there, operating summer school, cleaning the grounds, and doing behind the wheel (drivers ed thingy)

we skate at our school, there are some metal bleachers we setup and skate on and noone minds ... except i suck and cant grind yet but they do i just ollie around and try to kickflip and shit when the weather clears i be grindin some shit ... but thats whats fun about living in a redneck town ppl could careless if there is wax and scratches all over the curbs and bleachers lol

That sucks. One time after school, I was skating on my school's walkway, wasn't that many people there. Some other kids joined in, and we were just having fun. The principal came out, and said "leave, it's not safe for people here, or yourselves to skate here". I go "oh, would it be safer for us to skate in the street? We'll do that". So we went out in the middle of the street, and skated in front of her. She was yelling for us to move, but we wouldn't, because we weren't on school property. For the record, this was sort of out in the country (at my old school), so it wasn't like I jumped in front of cars...there was hardly any traffic. You shoulda seen her face though :) ....

haha. the cement quarter is like not vert or nothing, its like about 5 or so feet tall, its basically a driveway that goes down and off the side of the driveway there is the cement quarter going down onto a sidewalk right outside the principals office window, i should take some photos.

yeah, when and if i get some film, and some spare time, ill get some pics of nice spots. i was watching a video my friend made (who is a really ****ing awesome skater) he made it last summer or something like that and they just go around and skate the school and town n stuff. i went skating with 3 other friends last night at captain rons skatepark about 45 minutes away, it was a blast, we got there around 4:15pm and left at about 9:30pm. when we got there barely anyone else was there, and soon enough it started getting a bit crowded, but all in all it kicked ass, i tried to drop in again on the quarter ****ed up by leaning too far forward and slamming down, but i tried again right away kept getting a bit swervy and jumpin off and finally about the 3rd or 4th try i got it and there is a pyramid about 15 to 20 from the quarter with about a 2 foot high round rail on top and i tried to boardslide it and almost nailed it but slipped off at the last minute, i was pretty psyched since ive never tried it before, then i tried it later and wound up ****in hittin my nuts on it. my friend that made the videos (peter) brought his camera and i video taped him doing a k-grind to shuvit out on this 1 foot wide ledge. its like a step up, to a ledge. the step up is only bout half a foot, but then he 180'd over a huge barrier, and kickflipped up a really big step up on the other side of the park about 3 feet high from the ramp. he also 180'd that. we got some cool footage. i had landed a few things last night nothing too awesome, a few frontside noseslides and some backside boardslides. kickflips shit like that, and i almost got a rock to fakie on my first try. but it was fun... pretty sore today though.

I skate all the time after school and teachers always yell at me, and I just say it's after school, so they leave me alone. A principal tried to take my board once, and I didn't give it to him and he threatened to suspend me.... but didn't.

yeah, the guy came right out the door like 2 feet next to me. last time someone just took off it was at like 5:30 at night and he wound up getting a 3 day suspension because he was getting yelled at and flipped the guy off the next day.
