Hey i have a question. Well i've been skating for about 4 months now and i've got the stationsary stuff down like the olie and the kickflip and some other stuff but when i get to moving i can't even get an olie down. i can get maybe 2 inchs off the ground. If i go any higher the board turns. What can i do to help stop it from turning?

Word of advice, NEVER learn tricks stationary unless its primo or stuff like that becuase the reality is, you will have to relearn the trick again moving and it can mess you up bad

yeah, i learned kickflips and shuvits stationary on carpet. then i kinda had to really harness my guts so i could try em on pavement, but i can do them real nice stationary on pavement, and i am gettin close to doing k-flips moving.

yeah learning stuff stationary then trying to do it while your out on the pavement with your friends sucks so i try all my tricks rolling now...for some reason i find it easier to hover the board while im rolling on the pavement then when im stationary on carpet ...
