well it was really nice out today so ive skated all day ive been skating for 4 months and today i learned fakie ollies and started workin on pop shuvits ... im getting close to shuv's but like the board goes out from me not out in front of me like out beside of me like maybe im pushing to hard with my front foot....should my front foot push at all or what?

yeah, i have been skatin for almost two years, and i can do any variation of a shuv-it, but the one i still have the most trouble is a b/s. but you can use both feet to push in opposite directions, or just use one of your feet, but use more force. you just gotta find your own way of doin it

also, try to spin it under you instead of out, that way it wont go in front of your body. that happens a lot and it pisses me off

yeah im thinking thats what im doin is im pushing out and i need to just sweep the tail and pick my feet up high.

yeah, sweep it back a little closer to your body and i find it easier not to tuck my legs as much on just single flip and spin tricks like kick flips, single shuv-its, but when im boin varial flips and crap then you hav to bring up your legs, oh and welcome to the site. I guess im recently new too. You get a bunch of s***t from everyone at first, but it doesn't last long

i have b/s shuvit problems too. the board flies back like hell, like a meter.
i'm goot at f/s pop shuvits, i lean kinda slightly foreward, pop and then catch it high in fron of me by bending my legs and bringing it down.
for b/s first of all i can't bend my legs that way to catch it, my leg is not used to shoving it that way and everything else seems screwed up, help plz
