Kickflip

When i do a kickflip my board doesn't seem to want to flip. when i get it to flip it turns as if its doing a varial flip. how can i stop it from turning and geting it to flip the right way? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

you might be pushing sideways with your backfoot, keep shoulders straight. man these kickflip threads should be stickied.

Guys, theres no need for threads on kickflips there are like three sticky threads with everything you need for kickflips in this forum, plus theres an awesome tricktip with a video and pics in the tricktips page of the site.
