I have heard the trick "slappy" used in magazines a lot I just want to know what it is. Usually they say frontside slappy on a curb.

Well mabey im totally not sure but mabey slappy is landing and makeing a huge bang from landing wierd or something.

slappy isnt really shameful, A slappy, if were thinking alike here, is when you grind or stall on an object without ollieing up to it. for a really good example, or if youre like me and just like old videos, watch santa cruz's streets on fire, natas kaupas does some awesome slappy boardslides, ok so they arent that awesome, but still its a good example
