Well im trying to make a video right and i thought i was almost finished because we have been out skating and filming for hours but we only have 2 minutes of film altogether. dont get me wrong, we have loads of tricks on camera but they all take like 4 seconds `each because we get a little run up, the trick and the landing and when its played back it only goes for about 2 mins. Does anyne have any tips about the time??

Yeah, and put plenty of good looking girls in there. I'm sure we wouldn't mind seeing some good looking ladies.

If try get a 2 cameras you can show stuff from diferent angles adding on a few mins, thats what i'm thinking of doing for our vid finest. It was around 4 mins but i scraped it and starting again.

why dont you just add subliminable messages saying "an hour well spent" or "this isn't short" or "what it lacks in length.. it makes up for in technique" <<<<---- the last one is my personal fav. and anyone can read into it any way they want to

well let me put it this way..I made "finding Primo" which is 18:52....The stock footage on my puter was 13 gigs...transfered to disk now and shelfed. working on the second and I already have 2 gig on the puter and this vid should be twice as long...so if I start to hit the 30 gig point...i might have to consider running an external drive for my movies.
basically im saying to keep filming...it just takes time. interaction is good also but just dont do it for time ...do it for enhancement of your project. also do what you like...break sum rules and be different...doesnt have to be trick after trick after trick...if that is what a true skate vid is suppose to be, then im not making a skatevid...Im doing what I like...and hopefully others will too.

yeah, if you get mini or micro footage just take footage of the whole or most of the session, not just tricks. thats boring.

our last vid was 18 minutes: "Where's my Mind?". If you film for a while you'll have enough stuff. We film for around 5-6 months before we do anything editing or production wise.

I've been filming for about 4 months for my part in a video and its not going to be that good. If you want the video to be good AND lengthy then you need to spend tyime
