Do you mean in front of you as in..in the direction your board is moving...or what? Here....

Figure A: (Arrow shows direction)

[You and your board] ------- >

[You] [Your board goes this way] ---- >

Figure B:

[You and your board] ------- >

[Your board]
[You]

Do you see what I mean? I know those are sort of a rough sketch...but I can't help till I'm 100% sure what you need. Let me know.

Stay on your heels. Don't lean your head out in front of you..but also don't lean back too far. The biggest thing in heelflips is to have your weight distribution just right over the board. If it is, as long as you flip it, it'll land right under you every time. When you do them, try to bend with your legs, and keep your back as straight as possible (you can still bend your neck to look at the board), but try to keep that back straight when you're setting up. Thinking that way will help you to get used to having your weight in just the right spot. Try that on and off for about a week..but if it doesn't work for you, just try changing the way you place your weight on the board. Good luck bro.
