dont concentrate on kicking your foot off before you do the trick coz then you try to hard and you'll slide it up and do a tweaked ollie... the secret is to kick off right when you level out it sounds hard to do but it's not i've been doing these for quite a while now and am just about getting the rad downward tweak once my foot is off. so normal ollie until level, kick that extra bit further, back on, land

It helps to put your foot a little further up the board when you ollie, it helped me anyway.

i have the same problem with ollie norths and sk8boy. an ollie north is when you ollie normally put then kick your front foot off the board and then quickly bring it back in again.

Haha,
I didn't know people even did that trick anymore. We just used to call them one footers....never heard it called an ollie north. I remember back in the day when people would cut off about half the grip tape on the nose just to make these easy to do.

Basically put your front foot a little more forward than you normally do for an ollie. keep your foot centered, otherwise the board will flip.

Then when you ollie, pretend like you are trying to karate kick someone. The first couple times you'll probably end up kicking the board down. Keep practicing, focus on trying to kick and you'll eventually get it.

My problem with learning these is that I would always do it by accident when I was just trying to do a normal ollie.

A variation of this that looks sick is a tail grab ollie north. I could never do it, but I used to have a picture of my friend doing one over a small trash can.

Maybe if you put less weight on your front foot when you are about to kick off

How I do them is when I ollie, I kick the board down then kick my foot out. You gotta kick down when you're leveled and on the nose, though.

alright i got these good now.. i can do them regular, switch, fakie, and almost nollie.all i did was practice them in the grass.then i just did exactly wat i did there on the cement and now i go it almost every try.NIGHtMAre wat u have to do is put ur foot just like a ollie but up more(mine is over the bottom frt bolts.then all u gotta do is kinda jump foward a little so ur back foot stays over the board and flick ur foot kinda like a kickflip.

Get a board thats all jacked up and barely has a nose, I bet that would make it a bit easier.

ignore ollie north, a well gdgd trick ta do is shiftys. they look well gdgd, specially off a ledge or summit

but ollie norths are better than shiftys granted a flip backside shifty over a gate is going to get a rather ghettolicious thumbs up..but.. ollie norths are the trick of the moment.

Its an Ollie but your front foot kicks out away from the board. Out in front if you want to do it properly and not look Homo.

ollie south isnt even a trick it's just an excuse for kids with shitty ollies to say they meant to do a trick...
