ive been kickflippin around for a long time and i could never really get them high but today i finally figured how to pop them up good.
Put ur front foot close to the front bolts with a lot of ur foot on the board, a lot of ppl say dont hang much off ur heel off so u can get it higher but its a lot harder to try and spin it like that so u put most of ur foot on the board but on a sharp angle maybe 70 degrees. then pop HARD and put a lot of force into ur slide and flick off. hover in the air and crouch up into a ball and when its just about done flipping extend ur legs and stick the trick

hope this helps if u dont understand pm me and ill help u out

it didnt work for me, sorry dude....mine are pretty high anyway and i hardly put any force into the pop and flip. Its all about how much force you put into the pop and then how high you jump which carries the board up.

My kickflips go to a different height every time. Sometimes really high and sometimes really low.

yeah i do that, i just dont land them much. ive tried telling my friend steve to do that. he doesnt listen. he tries kicks and he barely flicks his foot off like just flicks with his ankle and tries to put his feet back on right away and smacks the board. he doesnt jump when he does it either. i try to help but he doesnt listen.

i sortof do them different everytime cuz i am experimenting with them. i land with my back foot everytime but thats because i dont go high and i kick too hard. lately (before this thread) i have been sliding my foot up instead of kicking down and it helps out alot.i appreciate everyone on these boards trying to help others and beginners because in some towns people don't have a lot of friends who skate or who skate good and with this help online it helps a lot. Thanks guys.
