To build a pyramid corner and assure yourself that you won't waste wood start by building the 4 bank ramp sections of your pyramid. Then situate your framed bank ramps as they would be if your pyramid was built, make sure everything is square. So in front of you are 4 bank ramp sections usually they are 8 foot wide sections in the shape of a + sign if you were to look at them from above. Now all you have to do is run a chalk line across the bottom of each bank ramp section, extending out past each corner until each line of chalk crosses over each other at the corners. Use the tips of each bank template as a guide to place the chalk line. Once you have a corner ploted out on the ground all you have to do is measure out at a 45 degree angle from each inside corner out to each corner you have plotted in chalk on the ground then you will be able to determine just how long each corner template needs to be. Now all you have to do is screw all your sections toghether and waist some 2x4's trying to cut all those bevel and miter cuts for each corner. You should also know that a pyramid takes up alot of space and is pretty much unmoveable after it is built.

I recommend checking out buildaramp.com, there you can find a 54 page guide that can help you with pretty much any ramp project you may have. you can also find very usefull links to free pyramid ramp plans.
