Hey guys... I have some recent BMX and Mountain Bike photos online.. go check them out and tell me what you think. Gear was as follows:

Nikon D100
28-70 f2.8 AFS
2x Vivitar 285's (One attatched to camera, other as a slave)
ISO 400, exposures around 1/200 @ f2.8, WB-Cloudy -1

Thoughts on the photos?

the tabletop?.. is cool, good timing underexposed a bit but meh should really be nailing those exposures with a D100 tut tut...get a fish for that baby then shoot some backflips

reshoot on a nicer day, that'll sort those underexposures out

Yeah I know they are underexposed a bit. I also want to keep the ISO as low as possible. I was shooting 1/200 at f2.8 with both flashes on full power. I guess I need some Quantum T2's or X2's or something. The sky was already rediculously blown out. I need some barebulb flashes and pocket wizards or something. If you feel like purchasing them for me be my guest. This was the only day I met up with all of these guys and somehow I managed to miss a guy attempting a backflip on that hip. I hate it when riders dont tell me what they are thinking.

I am picking up a D70 and a 10.5mm fisheye when I go to Canada in June. I already have the money for it.

how does higher iso on digi change the image it'd be stupid if it came up with a digital grain?...meh ah well good good on the d70 are you giving up on film?

Well... after getting into 800 and 1600 there is a lot more grain in images aswell as noise. Well the D100 is split with my dad so the D70 will become just mine... and the Nikon F4s that I have will be used to shoot sequences when I need them.

Maybe a few more angles, i'm not really sure, i'd just like to see the size of the gap which there doing the tricks over.

I despise side angles unless they are done with a proper fisheye. Seeing as I don't yet have the 10.5mm but I certainly will by June... I'm not shooting them. I haven't shot skateboarding in ages. I pretty much have the choice to ride/film/photograph bmx with my friends ranging in age from 14-19.... or I can skate on my own... tough decision man.
