it depends how serious you are, you may as well start with a decent cam. Can the eos even sync flash? occasionally

im thinkin bout the d70, im getting some mad dough in june, (ima gonna be a high school graduate, *****!)_ like, several grand., and my dads buying me a car, a computer, paying for all my college, all that shit, so i dont need to save all fo it, im gonna get the d70 (1g, aprox. right?) with 2 lenses, one a telephoto lense and the other a wide angle zoom lense.

oh and fyi *****es, my n75 is working great, i just wanna upgrade to digital, the n75 has served it purpose: to A, make absolutely sure that this is what i wanna do with my life, 2, make it asy to learn the ins and outs of photography, and D, educate me in the ways of film photography, which is what most schools teach, the one im going to, hehe middlesex country college, teaches with film mostly (i think)

I will have the D70, 18-70mm AF-s, and the 10.5mm all by the summer. Then after that I will be purchasing the 80-200 f2.8 two-touch D mount. And with the left over change, a 17-35mm f2.8 AFS.

I am sure the N75 worked great for you... good to hear. A lot of photo schools have gone digital. Brooks is all digital, RIT in NYC is digital, FullSail is all digital I believe. Maybe some of the smaller ones havent made the leap yet.

I just ordered my D70 with the 18-70 twenty minutes ago. I also bought the 1GB 40x CF card and a UV filter. Set me back a pretty penny but its NICE!!! getting here in may.
