whats some good video editing software we are gonna start a skate video this summer and im the only one who knows anything about pc's so im gonna edit it and everything and i need to know some good software cuz ive never really done video editing before..thx in advance

well feaky uses vegas 4 and his editing with that is beautiful. but windows movie maker is good for newbies.

if you wanna knock out a half decent vid, go with premiere or mac users turn to final cut

premiere is a nice program my friend uses it and makes great vids.

i have got Windows Movie Maker. I find it really simple and easy to move and delete clips. You can't do much in the way of titles and animation though. Its decent for the basics.

I have both premire and vegas.....I'm down with vegas...V5 is coming out soon. but they r all pretty good. I just read the manual from cover to cover and it was money from there.

Premire and premire pro..which has goten good reviews but its xp only. which works for me.

cant go wrong with any of those....but ya gotta read up on anything ya get. you can down load the manuals at many different places...check it out and see what ya think.

keeo in mind , you said you have never edited before .. Premiere is a Multi video/audio track editing tool .. it's not an easy editor .. especially or a beginner .. if i were you i would use Dazzle or mgi videowave or even pinnacle studio ... don't start off with final cut pro or premeire .. thats just way to hard for a beginner ..
