My mini will take those rice boxes anyday. AHAHA. Actually Brian's car has that cool steam thing it blows off when he backs up the crowd before the first race. It's a pretty fake movie, I do listen to the soundtrack whilst motoring, it's all good.

Speaking of cars, anyone want to give me a suggestion on a car for when I move back to Canada? It's gotta handle well in the snow, gotta have a good sound system, it needs to be tuneable(sp?) Im talking chrome rims w/ low profile tyres, exhaust, chipped possibly. I was thinking of a BMW Mini Cooper S, maybe a VW Jetta, Subaru WRX, or an Audi of some sort. The car has gotta be a stick shift with some guts. Oh who am I kidding, all you guys are like 12. If you own a car please answer my question, if not, go watch the movie a few more times.

Well I live in Qc, Canada and I have a Mercury Grand-Marquis '88....it still runs in winter so I don't think that's really an important factor. Two friends of mine have a VW Golf that runs well and wasn't that expensive. Obviously if you're loaded on cash go for something more expensive...

The women far exceeded anything else of value in that movie.

Shit those 350Z's look the nuts. I wouldn't mind having a go in one of them. I want to shoot a flick of me driving my Mini. I want to do like... wheel cams and shit hanging out the doors. Now I just have to ghetto rig some magic arm type things.

Hey i might happen to be 13 but i do know my cars. You should look into the Volkswagen R32. Man that car is kickin!Or how about the Jetta GLI. I like the Subaru and a lot of Audis but i am not too fond of the Mini Cooper. Haven't seen the S type in person though.

I like my 1993 Mini British Open Classic so I took a picture:

Thanks for the inputs snakeyes. I will look into those but for the moment I have my heart set on a 1999-2003 Subaru Impreza WRX (NOT the STI as it looks way to rice-ish for my liking) it is going to have a sound system inside that leaves me with plenty of trunk space and isnt obviously podded out inside. I'm going to have no extreme mods on the outside (Exhaust where your head fits in, body kit to the max, spoiler taller than the car) Just some good looking rims. Now for the insurance aspect :D

I don't know if it's only in Canada...but insurances are so ****ing exepensives for guys. If you're like a 18 years old man and you get a fairly new car and mod it a bit, insurances are gonna go ****ing high. My shitbox costs only 400$ a year, but my friend's protege5 is like 3000$ a year or more....that sucks

I saw the first one, Ricer cars suck...

I don't need to see 2fast 2furious becuase
1) it will only have more amount of suck
2) racing isnt my thing.

My mini is already about £1000 ($2500 CAN) to insure and I'm an occasional driver. HAHA. Maybe it's just cause replacing it would be ****ing expensive seeing as they aren't made anymore. We shall see...

.

It's NOS Mike.

£1000? jesus christ Mike, why don't you get on your Mum or Dad's insurance? that will slip to about £500ish if they have no claims.. What engine u got in that little beast then?

I wanna get a mini cooper, but I think the insurance maybe a bit hight :P

what about tht skyline in max power then, 0-60 in 2.5 and 0-188 in 7.5

mikejl29
06-01-2004, 02:42 PM
Nah Ben, that wasn't NOS that he blew off. Why would he direct NOS which is a liquid onto the road from the underside of his car. It had to be steam or something to that effect.

The £1000 has the Mini as my dad's second car with myself as an occasional driver. It's because of the sound system and all that stuff that its a little more expensive.

Flip Boy
06-01-2004, 03:12 PM
No it is NOS.. When Nitrous Oxide combusts, it is combined with oxygen, oxygen in our atmosphere is not a liquid.. it reduceds the nitrogen state into sub temperatures and actually cools the engine when used.. Thats what gives off the "steam effect". Works on Need For Speed Underground :P lol

Flip Boy
06-02-2004, 03:03 PM
No it looks like a car they would make to represent what the year 2000 will be like in 1970 sci fi series like thunderbirds.. basically no.

Its "koenigsegg" and it looks gay, here's a pic:

People who hate driving cars and prefer public transit I suppose? I personally don't know any, but I am sure people who live in central London or Manhattan might not be a fan of it.

that is an ugly car. it's looks like the poeple that were trying to make it tried too hard to be "futuristic"
