whats a good digital camera fer 200 er less? just to mess around with

Sony DSC-P32 (bad zoom though)
Sony DSC-P52 or P72 (can't remember)
and some others.

No problem, they are not the greatest at all but they will most likely do what you need them to do. Oh and the Nikon has 60 second videos i believe and the Sonys have unlimited, well just as much as there is memory.

check out the d70 if you got $$$$$ but otherwise the canon power shot series fails to go wrong

D70 is sick. It's quite expensive though. About 5 times what he is looking to spend. I think the powershots are still over his budget. Fuji Finepix S5000 or S7000 possibly?

Fuji S5000 goes for £200 on ebay and 300 in the states. This kid didnt have a location but I guessed that the S5000 would be in a decent price range no matter what because he only said "200"
