How different?

How different is snowboarding from skateboarding. Because I can skateboard really good and I'm wondering if that will help me if I start Snowboarding. Please feedback.

i dunno its not that different.... i know alot of people that suck at boarding but kick ass skating and vic versa.... and i know people who are decent at both and some people who kick ass at both... so i guess it depends on the person
