lets say i am going to purchase a Sony DSC-W1 http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=kRxHhROTwFhHh1NNRfNNjlydcwwb5DUdZ5c=?Cat egoryName=pr_p_newcyber_dcc&Dept=dcc&TemplateName= item%2fsy_item_a&ProductSKU=DSCW1

would i be able to get ANY kind of fisheye lens for it ?
my price range is up to $150 on the lens
i dont care if it fits, if there is a way to make it work
im not above using duct tape, either

any help/suggestions are much appreciated

i'm gonna say no, and if you want to use a fisheye a lot get a different camera for that price or get a decent SLR...film all the way

after reading it 'Conversion Lens Compatible
With the optional VAD-WA adaptor, you can add tele- or wide- conversion lenses for greater magnification or wider field of view, as well as protective and special effect filters.' maybe

No, you can't. Just take long-lense shots.

You can get film with that money, most cameras now sync at 1/250th which will do for skating

or if you really want a camera that you can get a fisheye for, buy a cheap manual SLR off ebay, say $60, then get a zenitar fisheye for $75 maybe?

there ya go, along with shipping and stuff, that will be around $160.

and the money you save from not buying the camera ($400) can go towards a flash (or 2), a 50mm lens (a standard lens) and some other bits and pieces, plus film and developing.

yeah thats want I said duh. Make sure the SLR syncs at 1/250th or over, or you'll be buying a new one within a month.

i was playing around with the D70 today... mighty fine piece of equipment... too light if you ask me though. I dunno, DSLR's are cool, but the conversion factor is ghey. eh... the D1x i'm getting is free, so who am i to complain?

although i'm getting the shittiest lenses ever, haha.
