Here are some of the sequence shots I took of my friends skating yesterday. The digital camera can take 3 pictures very quickly so we setup the tripod and the camera and took these and imported them into adobe afterwards.

Excellent pictures, very nice work!
So when you brough them into photoshop they were 3 seperate photo's right? How did you join them together so perfectly?

They were 3 seperate pictures and they were taken on a tripod so the backgrounds were all the same. So we took the first picture of the sequence as the base picture. Then we copied the second and third pictures in. Then you go the the layer of the 2nd picture, crop the person jumping and their shadow, invert the selection, delete all of the excess. Do the same for the other layer and then its your final product.
The picture with the big air that has the second shot kinda see through, thats just the opacity dragged to about 50%.

I used a fuji finepix 4700 on a tripod. I set the mode to continous shoot so that it takes 3 pictures in a short amount of time. Copied the pictures from the camera and opened them in adobe photoshop. Did the layering and now i have that.
