what is my camera

hey i just got a camera(inherited from uncle JOE) Its an old cannon you have to wind the lever thing then press the buttun to take the pic. I want to know what kind it is so I can get some lenses and stuff. All it says on the front is FT the lower is say QL. I'll post a pic on tues when my dad gets back with the cam phone. Please if you know tell me!

it's a canon FT funnily enough... the QL stands for 'quick load' so it is gonna be slightly easier than the norm to change films... the lens' you have to buy are the FL bayonet mounts but i doubt that any shops without a second hand area will stock anything of that description... this is an alright camera it's not fantastic but you got it for free so you cant complain...

Thanks muzz and snakeyes, acutlly my uncle(which is acully my great uncle) gave it to my aunt who gave it to us. so i have no idea. Wow muzz thanks, my mom has some popular photograghy mag's in the closet so I'll look at the ad's in there and see if they have the lenses im lookin for.

all manual photos for life. sounds like you got a pretty rad camera. i just bought a bronica etrs, so i'm going back to all manual now too, and 645 for that matter.
