Concrete then you won't have to worry about learning them on something else...If you know what I mean.

Concrete, concrete, concrete! Don't learn tricks on carpet, it's way different then any other time.

i first learned kick flips on grass/carpet/standing still.. and took me almost a year to learn em moving after that. so since then, I have always done my tricks moving

Also Concrete is hard, Carpet is soft, much easier to get more pop on concrete.

i hold on to things when im learnin a new trick. i can already kickflip 1 out of 1000 times but i can land them perfectly holdin on to something

I learned my kickflips like 3 days ago...and I learned it at a lake that had almost no concrete, so i learned my kick and heelflips on grass...and I can't do them on concrete, I have to relearn them on concrete it sucks....

so don't do carpet/grass...

i think that if you don't just learn it on straight concrete then you will have other fears later in the game ya kno

if u want to do tricks stationary which i recommend to learn kick flip u shold buy thes trucks that are rubber that u can use in your house there sweet.once u can do them stationary then try them on concrete because when you moving there so many more things that can go wrong then when you stationary

I find it a lot easier on concrete. Carpet, grass, etc. it absorbs your pop a bit. Doing it on concrete is a lot more crisp.
