i've got this annoying problem with noseslides. when I ollie on, i don't get my foot in the middle of the nose to steady it. My foot somehow lands right at the curve of the nose, and this makes it wobbly, and i fall off. It sucks 'cause i can't control it enough to lock onto the slide. Either this, or i ollie over the ledge and my truck goes over it just a bit too much and my wheel rolls on the ledge and i rack myself. I tried to practice nose stalls to help, but it doesn't really work becuase i can do nose stalls consistent, but i cant get onto a noseslide at all. is there anyway i can fix this? If you're just gonna tell me to practice, plz don't post, cuz i've been practicing a lot already...thanks

yeh noseslides can be a real pain but remember to keep ur feet really close to the middle or the back of the front bolts and remeber to the distance between u and the ledge a bit further then usual so that u dont overshoot the ollie and once u ollie remember to shift ur weight directly to the nose and wat can also be a pain is once u lock in the direction of ur weight can mess u up so try 2 lean back on ur noseslides so it does slide and i kno u dont want to hear this but the way to do it is practice cuz there is no easy 2 do any trick its all pure dedication. i hope this helps

why is that?, and yeah i have a problem with noseslides ashwell, i can get into the slide easy peasy, but i always lose my back foot off of the tail when i slide it off the tail and onto the bolts, so i always land them one foot, any tips?

well i would move my front foot close to the bolts than when just olling because you will slide your foot right into position then

and she is happy she isnt a guy to hit yourself in the balls

with nose slides i bash my front truck into the deal, and wind up doing a boardslide or a very loud cuss and yell session. i figured out that you need less speed then you think and....just try switch tail slides.....

grimreaper i think your problem is you are putting waaaaay too much weight on the nose of the board. distribute the weight about(nose/tail) 80/20 or 70/30

im doing that snakeyes and i think its helping, but i have a feeling slamming down my nose too fast and not really ollieing into it as much. i actually slided a few the other day =). I'm gonna go try some moretoday. Summer rocks. i can skate all i want...

^^ that's probably it, cause when i was trying them yesterday, and i kinda sliped abit, towards my tail, and it turned out sliding about a foot, i think i'm not going fast enough to slide far, but i can land them fine
