Hi All,
Recently I have picked up skateboardin' again (dudes bear with me, I'm starting from scratch here :-12: ) but my older brothers used to ride this vintage board (actually both of them got one but one of their boards was trashed for reasons unknown..).

Ok it's a Pro Class with Track Force trucks 'n wheels. They have bought in L.A. during their holiday in 1978 !
I am planning to restore it, renew the bolts, cover it with griptape except for the brand. A funny fact is that the brand has been burned (like a cattle mark) into the deck.
What are your remarks on this board ? Thanks !

^yea thats a nifty piece of wood, but i wouldnt skate it. itd be more of a collectable now so just keep it. on the subject of old school boards, a local shop has a gonz vision deck, its $70 but if i had the money id buy it put it in a glass case and all.

well the pictures aren't working for me but I would have to agree and say that it is a collectible and maybe worth money.

thanks all, now that I have read your responses, I will keep it at that state. A funny fact is that the grip tape parts were applied after my bro's returned from their stay in L.A. so somehow a bit of a historic customizing thing.
The signatures were applied by a young idiot in the 80's in his hip-hop phase (me when I was about 16), kinda old school tags..
(the site provider apparently is upgrading their machinery so the pics are unavailable at this time sorry)

well I wouldn't want to trash the board ofcourse so I'll stay off of it. Recently bought 2 new school decks (starter boards to try stuff out) maybe after a month or two I will get myself a good one (the Alien Workshop / ACME designs are fav) or design a deck myself, why not !

^ i was thinking that too.
yeah, i wish i had an old-school deck, i'd for sure hang it on my wall in my room as for your comment about alien workshops, i would suggest it for beginners, handles really well, that's what i'm riding right now...

not true, if anythign you'll learn them slower.... too mcu hpop, you will get scared and kick away more often, i learnt my ollis on a shitty argos board and they rocked, the max is like 5 inches and that was cool for me, now i can ollie 4 decks with ease
