Ok with like 6 months trying to learn them i have landed ONE freakin hardflip. I just cant do em. I can get where it flips backwards but cant get it to flip like a kickflip. I keep confusing myself though. Wouldnt it end up looking like i flipped it heelflip? If so i think i can land them once i get my facts straight.
Also my frontside flips. I flip em like hardflips only i turn the board around with my body and turn 180 when i do it. My problem is the board will never go the full 180. Any help?

Hod do u keep it under ur feet and still flip it..if i keep it under my feet then it just goes 180 and maybe half flips.

if u do your frontside flips flipping like a hardflip, its perfectly normal, and maybe even stylish. keep at it. for hardflips, you can try flipping it like an inward kickflip (fs shuvit + kickfliP) instead if it doing a backflip + kickflip. I personally like the backflip one more, but i guess you could work up to it? I can't do hardflips, or even flip one, but i hope thish elps at least a bit.

Yea jeffyzai kows what hes talkin about, but i have found that hardflips require alot preciser feet movements than other flip tricks. For example, for 360 flips you basically flip as hard as possible, but hardflips are different because you need to do the flipping in one fluid movement. If you can find a clip, watch Kareem Campbell hardflip, he knows how to do them.

or maybe pj ladd. he has a sweet one. i find that if i have my back foot toes hanging off the toe side of the board. they are easir to flip. it may sound weird but it works for me. but landing is the problem for me

angle your front foot towards the nose. Pop board like you're doing a fs shuv or fs 180 or whatever. Flick like for kickflip. The flick will be different than for kickflip.. I cant explain it. If you can fs flip, then you got the hardflip flick pretty much. Use that flick and bring the foot around back onto board. Takes practice and lotsa trial and error.
