it depends on wether your trying to play via internet, or via CONSOLE, if your doing console all ya have 2 do is have 2 controllers, via internet is impossible with THPS2.

On PC.....you can only play thps2 on network/lan.....wich means that your pc and your friend's pc must be connected directly, ususaly in the same room.

and if you are gonna do that you might as well just play 2 player.... hahaha, for THPS3 for PS2 you need a modem, i don't have one yet, but i have played at my friends, its sweet
