hey i have just started skateboarding and the trick help dont help me that much because i do wut it says but i cant jump ? why not ? need help so please help me...

It's all about the timing. How hard are you snapping the tail? Like get off the board and just snap the tail. Does it like pop off the ground? If not try "hitting" it harder. Then once you get the hang of that get on the skateboard and practice the timing/jumping. Trust me man, it's harder than it looks and it'll take time for you to master it.
