It's all personal prefence, but after quite a few years skating this is what i ride.
Blank deck
Venture hi
Blueprint 53mm wheels
Lucky 7's/titanum
Any hardwhere (not randoms type)
Any grip
I also feel that eS make the best quality skate shoes. And yes, i'm a street skater that does lots of flip tricks and grinds.

well its one or the other for decks. if you want durable as hell, go zero, some say they are heavy but not mine. for light, try either an element (wich may suck) or a popwar. thats my take. my current set up gose:
zero or die blood deck
jessup grip
venture lo-lites (with random, old bushings)
lucky black beuties
blank wheels
blank hardware
bam v.2 shoe (soon to be AL202s)
it suits me very well, the shoes suck however, and its a littel expensive. get one like it, DO NOT ride it to school if you want to see it again

no such thing as "best". all up to personal preference. get something u think u'll like. Here's my setup if you wanna check it out:
aws deck
royal trucks
fillmore wheels
black panther 3 bearings
everything else doesn't matter. actually, as long as you have a decent setup, it doesn't matter that much about what it is because just htink about it. pros skate for all the companies you're using so if they can do what they're doing with what you think is crap, then you can probably do it too. they're just human.
